Financial education for every group
Ledgerly exists to equip the Group with systematic financial education, provided at no cost to every group and every member today.
Our mission
Too many people carry debt, live paycheck to paycheck, and have no margin to give or to respond when life calls for it. Most groups want to help but lack a curriculum that is both solidly grounded and practically complete. Ledgerly closes that gap.
We teach money as a matter of stewardship. Almost nothing you have is only, completely yours; you manage what's entrusted to you. From that starting point, members learn to budget, save, get out of debt, protect their households, invest wisely, give generously, and leave a legacy.
What we believe about money
- You manage it, you don’t own it outright. We are managers, not unaccountable owners.
- Debt is a yoke. The borrower is slave to the lender (Proverbs 22:7), so freedom from consumer debt comes before building wealth.
- Saving is wisdom, hoarding is not. The wise store up (Proverbs 21:20), but bigger barns are not the goal (Luke 12:16–21).
- Generosity is the mark of a faithful steward. No one has ever become poor by giving — Anne Frank.
- A good steward leaves an inheritance. Faithfulness looks past our own lifetime (Proverbs 13:22).
Our commitment
Financial education should never be out of reach for a group because of its budget, or for a member because of their debt. Ledgerly exists to close that gap. Every course, workbook, tool, and certificate is included for every group and every member.
“Freely you have received; freely give.” Matthew 10:8
What we are not
Ledgerly is education, not advice. It is not a financial, investment, tax, or legal advisory service, and we do not sell financial products. For decisions specific to your situation, we encourage members to seek qualified professionals who share their values.
